On Tuesday, February 18 at 6:30 PM in Koch Center 100, Dr. James MacLeod will present a lecture for the Southwestern Indiana Historical Society entitled "A History of Violence. Race Relations in the Evansville Area." In a lecture with over 100 powerful images, Dr. MacLeod will discuss various aspects of racial violence in this region, including 19th century lynchings, the 1903 race riot, and the turbulent 1960s and 1970s.
