Dr. Bill Evans, co-founder of the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO), will be presenting insights gained from their work in the fight against poverty. The LEO utilizes impact evaluations to identify scalable, evidence-based programs that help families permanently escape poverty.  The discussion will emphasize the importance of rigorous research in driving social change and the commitment of LEO's partners to disrupting the status quo in poverty interventions. Their research shows the power of cross-sector collaboration and data-driven decision-making in solving one of society's most complex and persistent challenges.
