* HR Fall Orientation Sessions for Current Employees

Following the positive feedback at Fall Conference, the Office of Human Resources has decided to move forward with inviting all current employees to HR Orientation sessions. Please see the list of planned sessions below and email Brooke (mw502@evansville.edu) to have your name added to the roster.

Attending an orientation session as a current employee is an excellent way to get up-to-date information on benefits, policies, and practices, as well as learn about current happenings across key departments. Plus, we have a lot of fun!

* UE Choir Auditions

Auditions for the UE Choir program will be held Tuesday, August 20, Wednesday August 21, Thursday August 22, and Friday August 23. Anyone with a love of singing is welcome to audition.

* Auditions for the UE Jazz Ensemble

The UE Jazz Ensemble will be holding auditions August 21-23 from 1-3 pm each day, open to any student on campus who plays sax, trombone, trumpet, piano, drums, bass, or guitar. This ensemble meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-12:50 pm.

* UE Wind Ensemble auditions

The UE Wind Ensemble will hold auditions August 20-22. Everyone, regardless of their major is welcome to audition for membership.

The UE Wind Ensemble audition will consist of prepared excerpts, two major scales (one in a flat key, one in a sharp key), chromatic scale (practical range of instrument), and sight reading.

Audition Schedule

  • Tuesday, August 20, 2024, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, August 21, 2024, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
  • Thursday, August 22, 2024, 3:00 - 5:30 PM

Auditions are held in Krannert Hall of Fine Arts, Room 103. Please sign up for an audition.
