The University of Evansville strives to ensure that the most vulnerable visitors on campus are protected. As such, UE has recently updated its Protection of Children Policy. The policy is now referred to as the “Protection of Children and Vulnerable Persons Policy" and can be found here.

Individuals or groups that work with children, those under the age of 18 who are not registered UE students, or vulnerable persons such as any individual over the age of 18 who is incapable by reason of mental illness, intellectual disability, dementia, habitual drunkenness, excessive drug use, or other physical or mental incapacity, will need to abide by the Policy.

Questions about the policy may be directed to Kim Winsett in Risk Management at kw83@evansville.edu or Annie Sills in Institutional Equity at cs175@evansville.edu.
