The University of Evansville has sold its 42-acre Division Street property to Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve. The property is adjacent to the 220-acre old-growth forest.
An afternoon press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Wesselman Woods. President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz will join Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, Deputy Mayor Steve Schaefer, and Wesselman Woods Executive Director Zach Garcia for the announcement. |
