The funeral procession for fallen McCutchanville firefighter Jeremy Tighe will pass the University of Evansville campus on Lincoln Avenue late this morning.

The McCutchanville Fire Department is encouraging people across Evansville to honor the 18-year-old's service and sacrifice by lining the procession route. The procession will begin around 11:30 a.m. on East Sycamore Street, and will move along the following route: 

West on East Sycamore.
North on Garvin St.
West on Diamond Ave.
North on St. Joseph Ave.
West on Mohr Rd.
East on Meir Rd.
South on St. Joseph Ave.
East on Lloyd Expressway
South on 41
East on Lincoln (where it will pass the University campus at the edge of the Sesquicentennial Oval)
South on Alvord
West on E. Mulberry
North on S. Kelsey (Vehicles will be staged starting on Kelsey, back to Mulberry, back to Alvord if needed)

Again, the University community is welcomed to come out and line the route of the procession to help say goodbye to the young firefighter killed in a fire truck crash earlier this week.
