The University has secured additional appointments through Ascension/St. Vincent’s for students who wish to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

To register for the UE Student Vaccination at Ascension/St. Vincent’s, CLICK HERE. You will receive additional information via email once you confirm your appointment through the UE Student Vaccination site.

NOTE: This vaccine will most likely follow the two-dose protocol. Students will make their second dose appointment (minimum of 21 days) at the vaccine clinic after they receive their first dose of vaccine.

How to Register for a Vaccine Appointment through UE
(Registration through UE is only available through March 31)

The registration process requires the following:

  • Enter/update mobile number and email address and indicate whether you wish to be contacted by text messages on your mobile number or by email. Note: the pre-registration process is a little easier through mobile number text.
  • Select appointment date and time
  • Confirm appointment
  • You will receive a text or email from the Indiana Department of Health with additional instructions for completing your registration process. It is VERY important that you do this prior to arriving for your appointment
  • Non-Indiana Resident: If you are NOT a resident of Indiana, use your local (campus) address for the registration process
  • Insurance: if you have insurance, you will be asked to provide this information. You will not be charged for the vaccine. This step is to assist St. Vincent with their communication regarding insurance and state protocols.
  • Everyone - Be sure to take your UE I.D., photo I.D., and insurance card if you have one with you to your appointment.

If the UE Student Vaccination dates and times are not convenient for you:
Ascension/St. Vincent offers individual appointments, 7 days a week, 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Beginning March 31, 2021, students may choose to register for alternative time slots, or time slots with other vaccine clinics, by visiting www.ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211 or 1-866-211-9966 to schedule an appointment.

Non-Indiana Resident: Be sure to enter your local/campus address if you are NOT an Indiana resident. You will also need to take your UE I.D. with you if you are NOT a resident of Indiana.

Indiana Resident: You will need to take your driver’s license or state issued photo I.D. with you to receive your vaccine.

If you need transportation:
There are only a few appointments left for the school bus shuttle which will be provided on Wednesday, April 7, for appointments between 4:30-6:20 p.m. and again for the second dose of the vaccine on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 4:30-6:20 p.m.

First Dose
Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 4:30-6:20 p.m.

Second Dose
Wednesday, April 28, 4:30-6:20 p.m.

The bus schedule will be VERY strict, so please note the time you are to arrive for your shuttle to the St. Vincent Campus. You will only be allowed on a bus at your designated time. Also, please note that you may also need to stay at the St. Vincent campus until all students have been cleared to return to campus so plan accordingly.

Bus schedule for Wednesdays, April 7 and April 28:
For all appointments scheduled 4:30-4:50 p.m, the bus will leave at 4:00 p.m.
For all appointments scheduled 5:00-5:20 p.m., the bus will leave at 4:30 p.m.
For all appointments scheduled 5:30-5:50 p.m., the bus will leave at 5:00 p.m.
For all appointments scheduled 6:00-6:20 p.m., the bus will leave at 5:30 p.m.

All buses will leave from Rotherwood Avenue, in front of the Krannert Fine Arts Building.

If you are driving to the St. Vincent Clinic:
The Manor Auditorium is located on the campus of Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, 3700 Washington Avenue. Parking is available in the parking garage which can be accessed off of Bellemeade Avenue. Enter the parking garage off of Bellemeade Avenue, immediately turn left and follow the directional signage to the designated vaccine clinic parking area. Patients should enter the clinic using the doors adjacent to the parking garage.
