* Happy Holidays from the Annual Giving Team

Are you looking for the perfect holiday gift for our UE students?  If so, then a gift to the UE Annual Fund is sure to please!  There are several stockings that need stuffing by the end of the year, such as the Alumni Scholarship Fund, Friends for Educational Excellence Fund, Athletic Scholarship Fund, and the Harlaxton College Annual Fund.  Pledges are great, too- and can even be set up on payroll deduction for 2012.  All gifts are helpful- no matter how large or small.  Please contact your Annual Giving team at x2377 soon so that we can get your gift in by the end of the year (for those all-important Higher Education gift tax deductions). Or, our on-line giving site is always on the job at www.evansville.edu/give  To those of you who have already made your gift this year, thank you very much!!

Happy Holidays everybody!

More than 120 Young Preachers from more than 25 states are currently registered to attend the event which will be held at the historic Seelbach Hilton hotel and the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville.

The National Festival of Young Preachers sponsored by the Academy of Preachers is the most ecumenical preaching event in the country. A broad range of denominations will again be represented in the young preachers who are registered this year including, but not limited to, Ethiopian Orthodox, United Methodist, Assembly of God, Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian, and United Church of Christ. The Festival is designed specifically for young preachers between the ages of 16 and 28 who aspire to be preachers of the gospel.

The Academy of Preachers is a trans-denominational organization whose mission is to Identify, Network, Inspire and Support young people who sense God’s leading into a vocation of enormous social significance—gospel preaching.
