We are expecting the threat of inclement weather next week, as forecasts show winter storms moving in as early as Monday. Because we delayed the start of our spring semester to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we do not want to create a disruptive effect on classes.

If weather is inclement and unsafe, UE will close the campus and all face-to-face classes will be cancelled. However, professors may choose to move their face-to-face classes to an online format.

Online classes will not be automatically cancelled. Each class will be held at the discretion of the instructor.

The weather forecast could change, but please be prepared and ensure you have adequate technology for online classes in the event of campus closure(s).

Sincerely,

Michael Austin, PhD
