It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Haley Shea Green.

Haley was a first-semester freshman, studying Neuroscience and Psychology. She passed away Friday at her home in Evansville. She was born November 11, 1995 in Evansville to Samantha Griffin and James Green, III. According to the Evansville Courier and Press, she loved doing make-up, attending music festivals, and drinking her favorite iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, her son, Liam.

Haley is survived by her son, Liam Foster; mother, Samantha (Conor) Griffin; father, James Green, III; grandparents, Roy and Linda Watson; grandfather, Jim Green II; sisters, Emily Green, Alaya Griffin, and Breezy Griffin; brothers, Justin (Marissa) Goffinet and Conor Griffin, Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins; millions of friends, including her long-term partner in crime, Katie Kirkwood; and Liam’s dad, Nick Foster.

Visitation will be today from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Avenue. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Austin officiating.
