* UE Celebrates Real Health Hero® Brad Clark

Brad ClarkUniversity of Evansville is excited to announce the First Real Health Hero® of the Employee Medical Clinic! Brad Clark, associate registrar, has become a Real Health Hero® for lowering blood pressure and weight loss.

"High blood pressure runs in my family," says Clark, "and I've been on and off medication since my mid-20s. When I went for my initial clinic visit, the provider discussed my BP results and immediately started a specific plan of action to curb my high risk numbers. She is able to continually coach me on how I need to incorporate more physical activity and better my food choice for lifestyle changes. The convenience of having the clinic on campus is a huge benefit for employees. The provider is able to monitor my BP levels every two weeks, and I'm back in my office in 20 minutes or less. The clinic encourages me to be more involved in my health and to become a motivator for my friends and family."

* UE Athletics now on Instagram

The University of Evansville Athletics Department has taken the next step in the social media world and is now on Instagram. In keeping the idea of a consistent brand, you can follow the Purple Aces on Instagram at the handle UEAthletics.

Instagram is one of the emerging social mediums that enables you to post photos or videos. Purple Aces fans will now be treated to a one-of-a-kind experience as the UEAthletics Instagram account takes you on to the playing surface, inside the huddle and on the journey to a championship.

The in-game experience will also be increased as fans can send photos and videos to our Instagram account as well.

This is yet another way to keep up with the daily events of the Purple Aces. Along with Twitter and Facebook, this will let you see exactly what is going on within UE’s 14 varsity sports.
