Info You Should Know

* Kim McDonald Selected Administrator of the Year

Kim McDonald, Associate Director of Enrollment Communication, has been selected as this year’s Administrator of the Year. Kim came to UE in 2003 as the administrative assistant to the Executive Vice President. Over the years, she has also served the Administrative Associate for Enrollment Services and Enrollment Services Coordinator.

Those nominating Kim praised her not only for her successful efforts in supporting enrollment services, but also for her graciousness toward others under constant deadline pressure.  One nominator described Kim as one of the most productive employees they have ever encountered.

Over the last eight years, Kim has been pivotal in the University's admissions efforts.  She does a great job making sure our students are happy, comfortable and thriving at UE.  She is responsible for multiple forms of contact with every prospective and incoming UE student whether it be through publications, website content, social media or recruitment activities planning.

In addition to all of her work to help bring students to UE, Kim has also been instrumental in helping to keep them here.  The freshman retention program that she has managed is proof that our students need a little taking care of once they get to UE.
