It is my pleasure to share the news with you that UE has once again been recognized as one of the top 10 regional universities in the Midwest in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Colleges rankings.  Indeed, we have achieved our highest ranking in more than 15 years. In the rankings released this morning, the University of Evansville is #9 in the Best Regional Universities: Midwest category. UE held steady at the #3 slot on the Midwest list of “Great Schools, Great Prices” and was named an “A-Plus School for B Students” among Midwest regional universities.

Though it is certainly the case that no ranking system can capture the complexity of a great university, it is encouraging to see this external affirmation of UE’s academic quality, reputation, and affordability. Most important, of course, the rankings draw attention to – and affirm -- the impact that you have in shaping a life-transforming educational experience for our students.
