* Discounted Jon Pardi Tickets to Kick Off School Year!

On August 15, Jon Pardi and special guest, Clayton Anderson, are coming to the Victory Theatre for VenuWorks' last installment of the Summer Country Nights Series. Since August 15 is close to the beginning of your school year, VenuWorks would like to extend a special group discount to all UE faculty, staff, and students (perhaps Orientation/Move-In leaders that may be coming into town early) as a way of welcoming in the new semester!

With the code “ACES” and your UE ID, all faculty, staff, and students can purchase a ticket to the concert for just $15! These dcount tickets to the concert are available through the Ford Center ticket office.  You simply take your UE ID to the window.  If you choose to order online through Ticket Master, you will have to pay some additional fees.

This ticket will also provide special access to the VIP Pre-Party, which includes, games, giveaways, food and drink specials, and much more! It’ll be a fun night, and VenuWorks is excited to offer great, yet cost-effective entertainment to everyone at UE.

The estimated half a million dollar project will initially include nine volumes dedicated to the philosophy of education, environmental ethics, medical ethics, the philosophy of law, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of sex and love, the philosophy of sport, and the philosophy of technology. Each volume will be geared toward undergraduates and appropriately suited for classroom use. As a member of the team, Beavers will be the editor of the volume on the philosophy of technology.
